Grundig Digta 7 Standalone Kit

The Digta 7 Stand-Alone Kit is a dictation and playback system for which you need no PC connection. It comes with the Digta 7 professional dictation device, the Digta Station 447 Plus docking station, headphones, and foot switch for dictation playback.

The Digta 7 Stand-Alone Kit allows you to generate dictations with the Digta 7 – even when you are on the go. You profit from the advantages of digital dictation, such as better recording quality and the ability to insert or delete sentences and set priorities and deadlines. The dictation device can simply be passed on to your secretarial staff when you are finished.

They will see the outstanding dictations on the display, place the Digta 7 in the docking station, and play back the dictations with the help of the foot switch and headphones connected to the docking station. Each dictation can be individually selected, and can be deleted after transcription.

Intuitive slide switch operation with “Touch Pin”...

The Digta 7 has an innovative “Touch Pin“ slide switch. With this switch the user can operate the dictation device by feel, as the “Touch Pin” protrudes from the switch when set on ‘stop’. Moreover the slide switch allows four different operation modes. With a simple adjustment, the customers can select the slide switch version they use most for their Digta 7. That's making it especially practical for those new to the digital experience and for beginners.

High contrast display and self scaling dictation bar...

The transflective backlit LCD display of the Digta 7 provides clear text and graphic documents in a 160 x 160 pixel display with 16 grayscales. The contrast is intensified with bright surrounding light or direct sunlight. Fields with a gray background organize the displayed information on the Digta 7 into clearly structured groups. The active settings are clearly emphasized.

The self-scaling progress bar in the display of the Digta 7 shows the length of the dictation. This allows a clear overview - independent of the dictation length recorded on the Digta 7.

"Easy Mode" profile...

The Digta 7 is provided with "Easy Mode" profile. With this mode the functions on the display have been honed down to the essentials. Especially users who are familiar with analogue dictation devices, appreciate this function and the operating comfort of the Digta 7.

2GB Internal memory - extendable with DigtaCard...

Dictation devices from Grundig Business Systems, including the Digta 7, are the only professional dictation devices worldwide with real internal memory. It can be protected by the unit's PIN. That, together with 256 bit encryption, provides maximum protection against the loss of sensitive data.

The Digta Station 447 Plus is equipped with connections for the proven Grundig accessories – foot switch and headphones. When you place you Digta 7 in the Digta Station 447 Plus, your docking station becomes a transcription station without a PC.

At the same time, your lithium-ion battery recharges in the dictation device. If you wish, you can also charge a second battery in the Digta Station 447 Plus separately. This ensures that you always have an additional, completely charged battery ready for use.

Customized operation with the latch push-button switch function...

The Digta 7 Stand-Alone Kit also comes with the Foot Switch 540, which can be connected to the Digta Station 447 Plus. It is a robust, ergonomic control device for professional transcription stations and is equipped with three buttons for the start/stop, fast forward and fast reverse functions. Depending on the base plate switch setting, pressing the foot pedal can either cause the start function to remain electronically engaged, or dictation playback can continue as long as the pedal remains depressed. When playback is stopped, the foot rests on the wide middle plate.
