Web Dictate is an Internet dictation system that allows users to record, edit and send dictation from any Java enabled web browser on Windows or Mac OS X computers.

This web based dictation server is ideal for large organizations such as schools, hospitals and laboratories where computers are not assigned or for companies with remote or travelling staff. Web Dictate can also accommodate a single user and is available with a "User" license for individuals or a "Site License" for up to 10,000 users.

Simply install Web Dictate on a Windows based computer and add users. You then provide the server address (URL) to the users and they log in via their web browser.

Users, Recipients and Administrators

Almost unlimited number of users can be setup on the one Web Dictate server
Users profiles can be set to send to a default recipient or a specific typist destination
Each user can have numerous files saved on the server (limited only by hard drive space)
Multiple recipients can be added with individual send to properties
Recordings are sent directly to a typist immediately by email, over an ordinary computer network or via FTP
All file access is securely password protected
Integrates with Express Delegate Dictation Workflow manager

Software Versions

Add Encryption
If you are a Doctor, Lawyer or Professional we suggest that you purchase the Medical/Legal Version of this Software. This includes the license for the Encryption System which is required by most professional, medical and legal organisations to ensure confidentiality of the client or patient related recordings.

Site - Unlimited License
The site license lets you use an unlimited number of users (without purchasing any further user licenses) on a single installation of DialDictate. The user licenses you create with a DialDictate site license cannot be used in any other Dictate application. They are unique to DialDictate

Educational Edition
We also offer a discounted rate for academics and students who use Express Dictate when drafting academic work. If you are using Express Dictate or DialDictate commercially we trust you not to abuse this discount. The academic rate is not available simply because the institution (eg. University Hospital) is owned by a University. The user must be a teacher or student.
