This phone dictation system lets you, and other users, dial into a computer running DialDictate to record dictation. Record, replay, edit and manage files by pressing numbers on your telephone keypad. When you have completed a recording, DialDictate will send the dictation to your typist for transcription.

With DialDictate you can phone in dictation using most telephones. From a single user to a multi-national company, DialDictate is suitable for any number of users making telephone dictation a quick and easy option for anyone needing to remotely record dictation.

Software Versions

Add Encryption
If you are a Doctor, Lawyer or Professional we suggest that you purchase the Medical/Legal Version of this Software. This includes the license for the Encryption System which is required by most professional, medical and legal organisations to ensure confidentiality of the client or patient related recordings.

Site - Unlimited License
The site license lets you use an unlimited number of users (without purchasing any further user licenses) on a single installation of DialDictate. The user licenses you create with a DialDictate site license cannot be used in any other Dictate application. They are unique to DialDictate

Educational Edition
We also offer a discounted rate for academics and students who use Express Dictate when drafting academic work. If you are using Express Dictate or DialDictate commercially we trust you not to abuse this discount. The academic rate is not available simply because the institution (eg. University Hospital) is owned by a University. The user must be a teacher or student.

Requirements

• Windows XP/Vista, Windows 7 and 8
• Pentium 1Mhz or above with at least 64MB RAM

To connect to phone line(s) either:

• For regular phone lines, a CAHTA or TAPI compliant telephony device*
• For Voice over IP capable lines, a VoIP telephone company offering SIP gateway service

The telephone that you use must have tone dialing (DTMF).

*Dial Dictate requires either one or more CAHTA or TAPI compliant telephony devices. Some voice modems are suitable but for professional and multi-line use we recommend high quality voice devices such as CAHTA or CURL telephony boards.

Telephone Line Options

You can use either regular PSTN phone lines connected to your PC via a voice modem or a professional telephony boards or Voice over IP (VoIP) lines which connect calls direct from your VoIP phone service company to your PC using the internet. Related Software

Dial Dictate is one program in the NCH Software dictation software suite. It can integrate directly with Express Delegate Dictation Workflow System to manage the flow of audio and transcribed files.
