This is our own classic single switch USB Foot Pedal that has many uses and can be used on any PC.

One of the most widely requested features is available with the Software Supplied, just load to emulate keyboard and mouse functionality. Configure the pedal to the command Ctrl + P in Windows Media player and hey presto the sound file is started and stopped with a simple press.

We currently use this item with Dragon NaturallySpeaking Software to activate the microphones On & Off Command. Also great for people who are typing the same phrases over and over, as it allows you to insert custom text simply by pressing your foot pedal. Control any software that runs on your computer, including word processors, games, media player and many more, you can even set the pedal to work like a button on your mouse.

Really simple to install. Works with Windows media player as stated. Perfect if transcribing and not using a transcription software. I have mp3 file interviews that I'm transcribing using word. Great alternative to paying a fortune for software + pedals.
