New Philips SpeechExec Pro 10.1 Dictation Software
Continuous end customer surveys have shown, that less and less PCs are equipped with CD / DVD drives.
This means, that customers are not able to install the SpeechExec software on their PC anymore.
A potential alternative would be to distribute the software via USB sticks, but according to further customer feedback, many IT administrators lock the access for USB mass storage devices on the client PCs for security reasons.
To overcome these issues we therefore decided to distribute SpeechExec via the new CDN distribution network which brings the following benefits for our dealers and customers: - The software is always up to date
- No need to replace outdated SpeechExec CD's for products on stock
- Immediate access to the latest software in case of software updates
- No requirement for CD/DVD drives or unlocked USB ports
- Quick download of the latest SpeechExec software where the CDN distribution network
- Easy access to the appropriate software package with the license key
- Automatic start of the software installation after the download
 | | | | Due to the new software distribution policy Philips will stop by-packing the software CD's in all products that contain SpeechExec and SpeechExec Pro software (without Dragon speech recognition).
Instead Philips will add a folder that informs customers where to download the software and what to do next. Inside the folder the user can then find the license key(s) as shown on the left. |
However, if you still require the software CD, you can download an ISO file from our support pages. With this ISO file, a full SpeechExec CD can be burned. The new download page can be easily accessed via the following URL:25th October 2017
New Philips SpeechExec Software Version 8.8
Now, two years later we will already launch SpeechLive Stage IV which includes the browser-based Dictation Manager and SpeechExec 8.8.
We are pleased to announce the release of new SpeechExec Software V 8.8...
SpeechExec 8.8 contains some adaptations for the dictation manager, but we also managed to include some improvements like the secure front-end speech recognition window, the extraction of spoken instructions from digital (DPM) dictations, as well as enhanced notification options for transcriptionists.
SpeechExec 8.8 is now even faster and easier to use for intensive SpeechLive users who may already have thousands of dictations in their archive, by reducing the data traffic to from the SpeechLive servers.
