This docking station (CR3) is not only a nice stand to place your DS-4000 on your desk. It is multi-functional and connects via USB cable to your computer so you can download your voice files quickly and easily.
While connected to a switched-on PC it recharges the inserted battery pack BR402 automatically. If you prefer to charge your battery independently from the PC, just connect the stand to its AC power adapter.
The outstanding feature is that it allows hands free dictation. The footswitch connected to the docking station allows the recording/ playback control of the DS-4000 without handling.
The CR3 is included in the Olympus DS-4000 box contents, but is also available as a separate item.
